Valentine Day Special

Some people are so angry because we have said that Valentine's Day is a Christian festival and that we should not imitate them in celebrating it ! Subhan Allah !

 What do you want me to say ? do you want me to turn the halal into haram and the haram into halal ?? do you want me to lie to make you happy ? The prophet pbh said : "He who imitate a people is one of them " ==> this hadith is very clear , we should not celebrate their festivals and eids even if it would be a nice festival ,



haram is haram . i am giving you lots of proofs from Quran and sunna that celebrating Valentine's Day is forbidden in Islam . First of all if you say that valentine's day does not have anything with
Christianity , i will say : Please go and read about the its history , it is about a Christian priest .

Secondly , ignoring this festival does not mean disrespect of Christians , but it means that we have our religion and they have their religion and we should not imitate them . If you are a true muslim , you will show
love to your wife/husband everyday , not waiting for February 14 to show love and to give gifts ... Some brothers/ sisters want me to allow celebrating it so i can attract non muslims to Islam , i want to say to
them : Who am i to change some Islamic laws ?

If you want people to come to Islam then don't lie , tell them everything right about Islam , if they turn into it you can congratulate them , if they refuse Islam they are the losers not you . We should not lie to beautify Islam , islam is beautiful as it is Last point : did you ever see a Christian buying a sheep to celebrate eid al- adha with muslims ? did they imitate us ?

The answer is NO because they are proud of their religion.why should't we be proud of our religion too ,
