EVENTS THAT TOOK PLACE IN MOHARRAM (ESPECIALLY ON 10 MOHARRAM)

Events that took place on 10^th Muharram (Ashurah) 

a. Repentance of Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam was accepted by Allah

b. Hazrat Nuh Alaihis Salam and his followers were saved from the flood

c. Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam was born    - He received the title of Khalil-ullah (Friend of Allah)    - By the orders of Allah, the fire into which he was thrown by  Namrud became cool and a means of safety for him.

d. Allah removed Hazrat Ayyub Alaihis Salam from distress and he was restored to prosperity

e. Hazrat Imam Hussain RadiAllahu Anh was martyred on the battlefield of Karbala in Iraq

f. Allah created the heavens and the Earth

g. On this very day the Day of Judgement shall be established.
